Art Related: Well, I had taken a break from producing art for about a year
and a half. I had my first child in the fall of 2002 and did the whole stay
at home full time daddy thing. During that time, you will quickly realized
there is little to no time for anything else. Unfortunately art had to take
a backseat for a short while. Now that we have worked out a better schedule,
my creativity now has an outlet again! I've been producing work on 3 new
series. One is figurative, where I'm depicting the simple and mundane aspects
of domestic life. The second series is that of Louisiana landscapes. Landscapes
are new to me and I find them fun to explore when I want to recharge from
my other two series of works. Finally, the series that I've been most excited
about. The "My Supplication" and "Sull" series. This
body of work has been very enriching to me on a deeper level. Each of these
paintings is like it's own sort of visual prayer. They pull from my life
and project (abstractly) those wants, desires and reflections I'm experiencing
on that level inside (the one for which there are no words to express).
All three of these series will be added to regularly on my art page.
I am currently seeking a gallery for representation and employment relating
to the arts.
That is where I'm at now. Below is a list of the few art related things
